Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist and support the District Manager with general administrative duties as assigned
  • On behalf of the District Manager , provide letters , memos and Departmental/district communications to agents and Staff Manager ensuring follow up for confirmation and sign offs
  • Assist with drafting letters for clients and staff
  • Track calendar of events for agency force and send monthly agenda notices for upcoming months Sales force
  • Prepare cheque requests for leader’s sign-off
  • Prepare all documents for cheque request to Sales Support & monthly tracking for Independent Collectors
  • Assist with board call tracker and sales accountability
  • Addressing minor client issues
  • Assist with planning District events
  • Maintain and monitor insurance licenses for the District
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance to company policy for vacation and incidental days for the division, providing a report annually to Human Resources
  • Organize and coordinate recruitment files ensuring all documentation is in place for District Manager review and sign-off
  • Perform any other duties assigned by leader as appropriate to promote the further growth, development, and smooth operation of the Division and Family Guardian in general.

 

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Two (2) years’ experience minimum at an administrative assistant level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with persons at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Well-developed written and oral skills to prepare and communicate material requiring interpretation analysis, assessment and/or creativity, knowledgeable use of terminology and precise articulation of ideas or opinions
  • Appreciation of the organization’s operations across a number of generally related administrative or operational activities sufficient to apply, adapt and modify detailed practices or processes
  • Thorough understanding of the Company’s products, services, finances and strategies
  • Appreciation of several areas of external activities (financial and/or other industries, market and/or regulatory environment, or client business practices and needs) sufficient to apply relevant issues or developments to work performed
