Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing all change requests and maintenances (including but not limited to) assignment releases, change of name, beneficiary changes, change of agent, change of ownership
  • Processing reinstatements on various policies
  • Preparing and uploading pre-authorized cheques
  • Reconciliation of suspense accounts
  • Managing direct deposit accounts and clearing reconciliation items
  • Ensuring District, Agents and Departments receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all services, completing same within agreed service standards
  • Any other duties that may be assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Associate’s Degree required – Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of all lines of insurance products
  • Knowledge of the products offered by the company
  • Professional qualifications namely FLMI and ACS designations or equivalent
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Good keyboarding skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Customer service orientation
  • High level of organizational and planning, with keen attention to detail
  • Initiative and Reliability
