Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for providing proactive leadership, coaching and oversight for the Administration team along with backup support for the Client Relations team and general responsibility for the highest quality service to all BahamaHealth Members, Administrators, Agents and Brokers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide supervision and leadership for the Administration Unit to effectively oversee all of the established objectives for the area including the goal of increasing client satisfaction and process improvement
  • Manage, coach and evaluate the performance of team members; provide employee development and recognition
  • Receive and distribute incoming business documents for execution; distribute and assign incoming work load for execution in accordance with established deadlines
  • Manage, coach and evaluate the performance of team members; provide employee development and recognition
  • Monitor client service issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution; solving problems systematically, using sound business judgment
  • Host and lead regular meetings to evaluate goals and objectives and regular customer service training sessions to evaluate, enhance and improve operational efficiency

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • FLMI and ACS designations or equivalent, preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of group insurance experience in an identical or similar position, preferably providing superior client service and satisfaction
  • Strong computer skills inclusive of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to multi-task, deliver superior customer service and manage tight deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation / influence, collaboration and listening skills
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a propensity for accuracy
  • Must exhibit high level of confidentiality
