FamGuard Corporation continued its commitment to education by recently presenting its scholarship grant to the University of The Bahamas. This grant provided tuition assistance for those students who had been previously awarded a Family Guardian Scholarship and are currently completing their degree.

The Company’s original scholarship programme began thirty years ago, in 1988, and since its inception has provided almost half a million dollars in financial aid to more than 200 students from New Providence and the Family Islands. Going forward, the Scholarship Program has been revamped with recipients being selected by Family Guardian for scholarship and/or internship opportunities based on qualifying criteria determined by FamGuard in partnership with the University.
